This is what some of our guests have told us:

We only had a short stay in Scotland, but you made us very welcome & comfortable in this lovely cottage. Saw seals in Spey Bay, much to the delight of our boys! The weather was lovely and we are already planning to return. (Norris family, November 2009)

The weather was very kind to us! Wonderful walks - did Portessie to Cullen and saw dolphins off Portknockie! Also saw seals at Spey Bay. (Sue & Brian, November 2009)

Findochty harbour

Lovely cottage, well equipped. Good fishing from the harbour wall at Portsoy. Nice lunch at Puddleduck in Cullen. Hope to be back. (Munro family, October 2009)

Thanks for a wonderful week. "Hoosie" is warm, beautifully fitted out and with a perfect position. (Jacqui & Mike, October 2009)

Cottage very comfortable and spacious. Loved the views from the sitting room window. Saw seals at Portgordon and gannets at Troup Head. (Chris, Grahame & Matt, August 2009)

We were lucky enough to see dolphins from the window on Wednesday, and again the next day when we did a trip on the Gemini Explorer. It's such a lovely cottage, we're sorry to leave and wish we could stay longer. (Kevin, Chris & Robert, July 2009)

As veterans of 30+ years of self-catering holidays, we can definitely say that this is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. It's bright, spacious, extremely well (and thoughtfully) equipped and of course in a fantastic location. We've seen dolphins three times and enjoyed some lovely sunsets. (Pat, Peter & Richard, June 2009)

Moray Firth evening sky

Thank you very much, we were very comfortable here. It made an excellent base for the WCDS winter survey of the Moray Firth. We found dolphins in a bay close to Findochty. We also found porpoises and a minke whale. The bird life was amazing and we recorded record-breaking numbers of black guillemots and also a lot of great northern divers. We recommend that future guests go to the Spey Bay Wildlife Centre and also we recommend a trip on the Gemini Explorer. (Mark Simmonds, November 2008)

Beautiful location, lovely cottage, a home from home. The walk along the coast from Portessie to Findlater Castle is just beautiful. (Smith Family, October 2008)

The cottage is deceptively spacious and very well equipped. There were so many magical moments during our week here, but one of the best was sitting on the rocks over the road with a glass of wine, watching the sun go down. (Barrett Family, August 2008)

Far too short a visit. The cottage is so comfortable and well equipped. We would like to return for a longer stay sometime. Thank you for the organisation that ensures everything one could possibly want is there. (Faulkner family, June 2008)

Lovely cottage, and so welcoming, with wonderful views. We could have spent all week watching the seals at Strathlene and saw dolphins on our last day - brilliant! (Bowlstridge party, June 2008)
